Live Korean Radio!

http://www.igtb.co.kr/new2009/include/gtb_player.asp?playmode=liveRadio

Korean ladies with big mouths...  So I asked the lady next door how long it takes from LA to La Mirada since she lives in the La Habra area.  She said about an hour, so I kept it at that.  Next day my mom asks me who I'm going to the Lee Eun Mi concert with.  Huh???  I just played it like I didn't know who that was and that I just had other dinner plans in La Mirada.  It's funny how the neighbor lady assumed I was going to the concert.  Although she assumed correctly, I was still a bit annoyed that she would even tell my mom that.  Do moms really have nothing interesting to talk about??!?!?!

But the concert was beyond amazing.  It felt really short although it went on for 2.5 hours.  She had a duet with Kim Kwang Seok (he's dead btw), by having one of his live performances play on the screen.  It's funny because I've started listening to his songs for the past few months, and I love the fact how current artists are singing remakes of his work.  This man was a true genious, a really sad and depressed one but amazing in many ways.  SOOO glad I went.

Then off the Vegas on Saturday morning.  Didn't spend a penny gambling.  Brunch Buffet at the Paris, then a 2 hour nap to freshen before the game.  The game started at 6pm this year, which seemed way too early.  This is my 3rd Frozen Fury and they beat any other show/event in Vegas.  Nothing more fun that an arena packed with drunk and rowdy Kings fans.  We won 5-3, although I don't remember much beyond the first period.

Got home pretty fast, before 10:30am.  So it was nice to have the rest of the day to relax and recover from all the poisoning.  I missed two workouts this weekend so I'm a little bummed about that.

By the way, I have to add the Mercury Mariner to the "YOU BOUGHT THAT?" list.  This was by far the worst car I have EVER driven in my life.

What a SOLID weekend this was.
